Just went to your site and noticed the home I am selling to you is listed already. We haven’t closed in it yet.
Is this normal practice for your group???
The renters moved out the end of May.
Joe Bauer says
Hi Kathryn, My name is Joe. I’m the marketing person at SIC. I just do this because it helps with our website traffic on google. I’m happy to take it down if you’d like me to?
Kathryn Cox says
I guess I did sell it to your group. The whole transaction and interaction with the representative seemed highly irregular. It was like pulling teeth to get any information from him that made sense.
I signed the PSA first and then sent to the company. Had to ask for a verified signed copy in return.
Too long to explain.
Someone needs to get their act together.
Are you related to Corrine Bauer???
Thanks for your replay.
Joe Bauer says
Are you referring to it being tough to deal with Max, or was there someone else that was hard to deal with? This definitely shouldn’t be the case. We want things to be as easy and transparent as possible, so I’d appreciate any info that you have.
I can’t say that I know a Corrine Bauer. Do you know where she’s from?
Kathryn Cox says
I grew up with her in Seattle. That is her married name.
Like I said it’s a long story. Ryan set up an appointment with my renter but had the wrong phone number so she didn’t know Max was coming when he did. So that was unsettling for her and her son.
Max was ok I emailed him a lot and he got back to me in what I thought not a timely manner.
It was the information that I was getting was in bits and pieces. I didn’t realize that you would be taking pictures while the renters were there and listing it on your site before we closed. I think a little more information would have been helpful. Max did answer my questions but I had to ask to get information.
I that me as the seller signing the PSA first was rather irregular also.
The escrow company didn’t contact me til last Friday and we were suppose to close today. Not happening because she just got the payoff from my mortgage company. Yesterday. She hasn’t asked me for any bank information for wire transfer yet.
And now we are doing another extension.
I was almost ready to cancel the agreement. But decided to go forward.
It just seems like it could have been more organized. I’m a surgical nurse and a little / lot OCD and I guess I like things to go smoothly.
Anyway. It’s almost complete.
I would suggest that the whole scenario on how your company works be explained more in depth to future sellers.
Thanks for listening.

This is great info for us to have. You’re actually the first person that has ever had any issues at all in the last 2 years of business. That being said, I like that you’re OCD and have pointed out some things that we can get better at. We can always do things better, and I appreciate you letting us know.
Thanks again!
